Why do I need to do a forklift training course?
A forklift training course will give you the knowledge and skills you or your workplace need to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. You will learn to assess risks before each type of manoeuvre, ensuring that the forklifts are used safely and for the tasks they were designed for.
The Health and Safety at Work Act states that “ nobody should be allowed to operate any lift trucks unless they have completed basic training to allow them to do so safely”

What does forklift training involve?
To obtain a basic operators certificate you will complete the appropriate training which is specific for each truck or equipment type. You must be able to pass a theory exam followed by practical tests. Please see our Training courses for information on the truck or equipment type you wish to train on.

On customers premises we can deliver training on ALL CATEGORIES of lifting equipment.
